A Florida native and a graduate of the Savanah College of Art and Design, I am a Tampa based apparel designer, and entreprenuer. I have been working as a designer in various aspects of the garment design field since graduation from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2009. My design esthetic is greatly influenced by /vintage style fashions and my Florida roots.
Of note, I formed Spool Studio LLC in 2015 as an online fabric retailer which later lead to the opening of my brick-and-mortar storefront and studio space in Tampa, FL. Currently the studio offers sewing space and education for local sewing enthusiasts, including one-on-one and group sewing lessons, as well as sales of a curated selection of fabrics and notions. From my studio I also offer custom garment design services to private clients.
In 2020 I began a new business venture, ReddyWear LLC; a small-batch, mid-century inspired clothing line, featuring my own original designs, which I continue to work at growing.
In addition to my own campanies, my professional experience includes currently working as a wardrobe assistant on commercial shoots with various production companies, and as an adjunct costumer for Norwegian Cruiselines Creative Center.
Past creative endeavors include expericence in costuming for theater by patterning and constructing costumes in association with Hillsborough Community College and as a part-time designer for Dorothy Zudora.
Finally, I continue to work part time at my 23 year career as a registered nurse.
